A bunch of friends spent several days up at Shaver Lake, CA (just east of Fresno) in the Sierra Nevada mountain range for the July 4th, 2009 celebration. George and Sharon provided the “cabin”, food, boats, and everything we could possibly ask for.

The last night there, while we were all sitting on the back porch, George proposed to Sharon - she said YES! A perfect close to a perfect holiday.
